On Thursday, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn began filming for the sequel to his 2015 murder thriller “Drishyam.”
“Drishyam” tells the storey of a family of four whose lives are turned upside down after their older daughter suffers a tragic accident. Devgn is scheduled to reprise his role as Vijay Salgoankar in the sequel, which will also include Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta from the original film.
The next chapter in the franchise will be directed by Abhishek Pathak and will take place seven years after the events of the first and will put Vijay’s resolve to defend his family, for whom he would go to any length. Devgn expressed his delight at the prospect of presenting an intriguing plot in “Drishyam 2” and reprising his role as Vijay Salgaonkar.
