Boruto: Naruto Next Generations has seen the world of ninja progress by leaps and bounds in the field of technology. Although the shinobi world has enjoyed the peace that was brought forth by Naruto Uzumaki after the Fourth Great Ninja War, new enemies are on the rise once again.
With new enemies come new powers that have never been seen before in the Narutoverse. At the same time, to rival these powers, the protagonists of the story get a lot of incredible power-ups as well, making the Boruto series a worthwhile experience.
10 Chakra Absorption Tool
The Chakra Absorption Tool was created by none other than Katasuke of Konohagakure an incredibly brilliant mind. At Naruto’s request, he managed to create a prosthetic arm capable of absorbing chakra of all types.
This power debuted during Naruto Uzumaki’s sparring match against Boruto Uzumaki and it is safe to say that it surprised the fans quite a lot. Incredible as it is, this tool is still a prototype and Katasuke is still working on it to make it even better.
9 Karma Stage 1
Karma is a power that the Otsutsuki clan members give to those in whose body they wish to resurrect. The seal contains all the data of an Otsutsuki which slowly extracts itself in the body of the bearer, eventually turning them into a full Otsutsuki.
The Karma has several stages and the first is certainly the weakest. When activated, this stage of the Karma sees the user’s body get covered in Karma markings. The strength and speed, along with every other physical attribute are boosted as well. Karma also allows the user to absorb ninjutsu, making it quite powerful.
8 Boro’s Scientific Ninja Tool
Boro was one of the main villains of the Boruto series and he was quite powerful. Being an Inner of Kara, Boro was a monster in combat and much of his strength stemmed from the scientific ninja tools within his body.
Using the power bestowed to him by Amado, Boro could produce a virus capable of seeping the energy out of one’s body and eventually paralyzing them. What’s more, he also had the ability to regenerate from any sort of damage within mere seconds as long as his core was within his body.
7 Jougan
Jougan is one of the strongest powers in the world of Boruto, although much about it remains unknown. This eye is somehow connected to the Otsutsuki clan and is said to hold great power.
So far, it’s been shown to be able to detect negative emotions and also see the chakra pathway system, like the Byakugan. Furthermore, this eye can also detect the weak point of a person, giving the user a great advantage in battle. So far, Boruto Uzumaki is the only user of the Jougan.
6 Delta’s Scientific Ninja Tool
Another Inner of the Kara, just like Boro, Delta was an extremely powerful woman capable of taking on even the Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. Her body was heavily modified using shinobi-ware, as expected of a member of Kara. Delta was able to use multiple powers, such as making use of her appendages to hurt others.
At the same time, Delta eye helped her absorb all ninjutsu and even shoot incredibly dangerous beams of light that could kill nearly anyone on contact, even someone with a regeneration factor as high as Naruto Uzumaki.
5 Code’s Teleportation
Code is the current leader of Kara and it is no surprise that he’s a powerful fighter. At one point, he was also an Inner of the organization and was openly known to be stronger than Delta and Boro. Shockingly, Code’s strength surpassed that of Jigen as well, which is why he has limiters placed on his body.
Code also has a special power that allows him to spread bands on any surface and transport himself instantaneously through one band to the other, making it very similar to the Fourth Hokage’s Hiraishin no Jutsu.
4 Code’s White Karma
Code also possesses a special Karma known as White Karma. In the past, Code was experimented on by Amado and was one of the many children who were selected by Isshiki Otsutsuki to pass his Karma on to.
Just like most other children, Code was a failure but somehow, he didn’t die and bore a White Karma instead. This Karma gives him the exact same powers as Isshiki Otsutsuki only without making him a vessel of the Otsutsuki in the first place.
3 Karma Stage 2
One of the strongest abilities in Boruto, the true power of the Karma can only be accessed in the second stage where the user grows a horn and, usually, the Otsutsuki takes over the body. When used by Boruto Uzumaki, he became strong enough to kill Boro in combat without much trouble.
At the same time, he could also stab Sasuke Uchiha’s Rinnegan, showing his skill in battle. Without a doubt, Karma’s second stage is a fearsome power for anyone to hold.
2 Isshiki’s Eye
Isshiki Otsutsuki was the strongest antagonist in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations and it goes without saying that he had some incredible powers up his sleeve. Isshiki’s eye, in particular, was his biggest source of power and made him a threat to anyone.
Isshiki could use Sukunahikona, a jutsu that let him shrink himself and all the inanimate objects around him. He could also use Daikokuten, which was another ocular jutsu that allowed him to store anything in a different dimension where time didn’t flow and summon it when he wanted.
1 Baryon Mode
Quite easily the strongest power introduced in Boruto so far is the Baryon Mode. Utilized by Naruto Uzumaki and Kurama, Baryon Mode used their chakra as kernels to create a much greater energy. This energy far surpassed their regular chakra reserves.
In fact, it proved to be strong enough to completely overwhelm Isshiki Otsutsuki in combat, essentially making Naruto Uzumaki the strongest of all time. However, the price to pay for this power was huge as Kurama ended up dying in the process.
