If you happen to live in the US and are looking for a website that lets you gamble on sports or play poker online, you must have heard about Bovada.
Based out of Costa Rica, the online sportsbook was founded back in 2011. It features a wide range of games including but not limited to table games, blackjack, and major US sports leagues.
It also offers a legal way for those in the US to bet on sports and gamble online.
However, some states in the US have banned all forms of gambling regardless of where the host is based. It means people from New Jersey, New York, Maryland, Nevada, and Delaware will be unable to place bets on Bovada.
That said, Bovada users are now reporting that the website is down or not working right now (1,2,3,4,5).
Some initially thought it was a problem on their end and tried resetting their internet connection, clearing browser cache, deleting cookies, and even trying a new browser but nothing helped.
Fortunately, Bovada has commented on the matter and said that they are aware that the website is down or not working for many.
While they clarified that the developers are working to restore functionality, there is no ETA on when it will be back up.
We hope they find out the root cause of the issue and fix it as soon as possible.
