Many frustrated Cash App users have taken to Twitter and Reddit to report that their payment is currently stuck at ‘pending’ and not processing.
Since Cash App is one of the most popular apps to send and receive money, thousands of users are stranded at the moment since they haven’t received the money or aren’t able to make payments.

Most users say that the money transfer is successful on the sender’s end, however, they do not receive it on their Cash App as the payment shows up as ‘pending’.
Of course, this isn’t the first time the issue has popped up and Cash App isn’t the only payment app to have issues with the payment getting stuck on pending.
That said, users might find some solace in the fact that the company is already aware of the issue and is currently working to fix it.
Cash App support responded to a user’s complaint regarding the issue with the following message:
The official Cash App status page also indicates that an investigation is currently underway.
Since this appears to be a server-side problem, a fix should go live for everyone at the same time and there shouldn’t be any need to update the application.
Cash App is also requesting users not to re-attempt transactions if their payment is stuck at ‘pending’ to avoid duplicate charges.
Furthermore, while Cash App support hasn’t mentioned an ETA for the fix, we expect it to be resolved sooner rather than later.
