One of the most popular anime shows now airing is Jujutsu Kaisen, and everyone is interested in seeing how it progresses. With fans eagerly awaiting news of the comeback, the IP is contemplating a new season after producing a successful film. And now, a recent report has validated that the second season’s update will appear online in less than a month.
The information is sourced from Japan. According to Natalie, the season 2 update is currently being developed at Studio MAPPA. The idea states that on September 18th, Jujutsu Kaisen would air a TV special for viewers in Japan to view live.
For those who are unaware, the production committee for the anime quickly after season 1 wrapped requested for season 2. In between the two seasons, studio MAPPA was active. The show’s cast got together for Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the first anime movie that serves as a precursor for Gojo and a beloved student named Yuta. With the primary trio from Jujutsu Kaisen, viewers can anticipate that the latter will play a significant role in season two. Without Gojo taking center stage, Jujutsu Kaisen wouldn’t be the same, of course.
If you haven’t finished watching Jujutsu Kaisen yet, you still have ample time to do so. Gege Akutami’s ongoing manga has chapters that are published in both Japan and the United States at the same time. The most recent chapters are available on Manga Plus or the Shonen Jump app, and Crunchyroll allows anime lovers to watch the show.
