“I’m innocent,” During the first look at the third season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Jen Shah makes this claim.
The RHOSLC newbies and “friends of” Danna Bui-Negrete, Angie Harrington, and Angie Katsanevas will join veteran Housewives Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Whitney Rose, and Jen for what is sure to be a bumpy trip.
First off, Jen is still having legal issues with the FBI. Still, she is blaming her former assistant Stuart Smith, who entered a guilty plea to conspiracy to conduct wire fraud charges in relation to a massive telemarketing scam last year.
“I got played by Stuart Smith,” Jen says in the super tease. “I would not be in this thing if it wasn’t for Stuart.”
Whitney is the recipient of Danna’s later confession to her: “Someone I know was working for Jen and now he’s an informant.”
Cut to footage of Jen exiting a courthouse in New York City earlier this summer after altering her plea to guilty on the same accusations.
Meredith brings up a startling story regarding Lisa, so Jen is definitely not the only source of turmoil. Whitney overhears her saying, “I just heard that she was doing a favor to help get places to pick up Vida Tequila.”
Whitney eventually tells the rest of her cast members about the accusations.
“You told me she performed sexual favors,” Whitney states, prompting Lisa to fire back, “Are you crazy?!”
Whitney confesses childhood trauma by addressing the ladies, “I was in a pretty terrible circumstance,” while Heather’s relationship with her family is still strained as a result of her book Bad Mormon.
The women had a relaxing trip to a tropical beach together, despite the drama and obstacles. However, Heather’s vacation is not all rest and leisure as she discovers a severely swollen black eye.
“Heather, you look like somebody clocked you,” Lisa says in shock before Heather responds, “Well, maybe somebody did.”
