Priyanka Chopra caught Nick Jonas’ attention in “Quantico,” and after getting in touch via her co-star Graham Rogers, he decided to slide into her direct message. “I’m hearing from a few mutual friends that we should meet,” he wrote in a tweet to her. Soon after, Priyanka sent him her phone number so they could chat further.

“She responded day of with a message that said, ‘My team can read this. Why don’t you just text me,’” Nick told the media.

Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin met at a party, but Barbara initiated contact after she started following Dylan on Instagram. She left him on reading after he followed up by putting his phone number into her DMs, and it took her almost six months to get in touch with him.

“She followed me, so I was like, ‘I guess I’ll give her something.’ And I slid into her DMs. I was like, ‘Hey, I don’t know if you’re in New York for very long, but we should hang out if you want to. Here’s my number. And she didn’t message me for six months,” Dylan said in an interview.

Mandy Moore met Taylor Goldsmith as she was a fan of his band Dawes and couldn’t resist sharing their music on Instagram. They later got married. Mandy and Taylor rapidly forged an internet connection after Taylor discovered she had been listening. He discovered a way to contact her.

“I took a picture of their album and posted it on Instagram. Somehow, Taylor saw it and sent a note to me. We started emailing back and forth, then we went on a date and the rest is history. Thanks, Instagram, for helping me meet my fiancé!” Mandy shared with the media.

Despite the efforts of common acquaintances to introduce Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner, Joe took matters into his own hands even before the meeting could be initiated. In 2016, Joe accidentally slipped into Sophie’s Instagram DMs. Soon after, the two were planning their first date.

“We had a lot of mutual friends, and they’d been trying to introduce us for a long time. We were following each other on Instagram and he direct messaged me one fine day, out of the blue,” Sophie told the media.

Amber Rose decided to message Wiz Khalifa on Twitter after learning that he had a crush on her in an interview. They eventually met in person as a result of her slip into his DMs. Sebastian is their shared kid, even though they later broke up.

“Initially we met through Twitter. He interviewed me and the guy who interviewed him asked, ‘If there was one girl in the world who would you be with?’ He said ‘Amber Rose,’ — and then I hit him on Twitter, and I said, ‘That’s cute and we fell in love!” Amber explained.
