COD: Modern Warfare 2 is a first-person shooter video game created by Infinity Ward for various gaming platforms. It even introduced a number of new innovations in gameplay like modern AI and more.
However, it has also been plagued by various bugs and issues every now and then. For instance, we previously saw how XP tokens went missing for some. Not long ago, the game also got stuck on ‘Checking for update’.
COD: Modern Warfare 2 ‘high ping’ issue
And now, a number of COD: Modern Warfare 2 players (1,2,3,4,5,6) have been experiencing issues related to high ping after the latest patch.
Owing to this, the game is exhibiting lag and stuttering during matches. It is directly impacting the performance of the players.
This is incredibly frustrating for affected players as the higher number of ping makes the game almost unplayable. It sometimes even takes plenty of time to load or find a game.
One of those affected even turned to Windows 10 to prevent the game from lagging, which seemingly solved the issue for them.
No official word in sight
Unfortunately, Infinity Ward hasn’t acknowledged various connectivity issues in the COD: Modern Warfare 2.
We hope that they figure out a way to fix the latency bug as soon as possible and make up for a smooth gameplay experience.
