Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is quite a popular first-person shooter game set in a realistic and modern setting.
The game recently received the Season 01 ‘Reloaded’ update, which added new weapons and operators and brought several changes to the gameplay.
For instance, the update fixed an issue that caused lingering smoke to disappear while in ADS during active S.A.E.
It also corrected a bug preventing gamers from selecting the correct number of ‘Battle Pass Tokens’ to purchase.
However, some users are reporting some issues that seem to have popped up after the recently introduced update.
Modern Warfare 2 scoreboard still glitched or skipping players’ names
According to reports (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10), some users are facing difficulties navigating through the scoreboard because of the persistent glitch.
Some are facing problems while reporting a player, as when they try to select their name on the scoreboard, it appears to skip every second person in the list.
For others, when trying to do so, the game brings up a list of all players, making one scroll at least twice to find the person.
Due to this glitch, players are also experiencing difficulties while trying to mute another participant. And so they’ve resorted to muting the entire lobby because of a single irritating person.
The problem seems to be affecting players across multiple platforms.
According to a user, the bug seems to have been persistent for quite some time, but the developers are yet to fix it.
Some players don’t even feel like playing the game because of these issues.
No official acknowledgment
Unfortunately, the developers have not officially acknowledged the issue, and it may take some time before the problem is resolved.
That said, we’ll keep an eye on the issue where some Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 players are experiencing problems due to the glitched scoreboard and update this article as and when something noteworthy comes up.
