COD: Vanguard, the successful FPS developed by Sledgehammer Games, has various game modes, as the weapon challenges.

Through the COD: Vanguard weapon challenges, you can unlock various elements that can be equipped with weapons, such as camos and reticles.

However, some COD: Vanguard players are reporting that completing the weapon challenges is not unlocking the reticles (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

Reticles not unlocking on COD: Vanguard weapon challenges

COD: Vanguard players affected by the issue report that, after having completed all the requirements many times, the reticles do not unlock.

This makes players suspect that the tracking system for the weapon challenges in COD: Vanguard would not be working properly. So, even if they meet the objectives, the game will never count them.

Other unlockables could be affected as well

The reticles would not be the only unlockable item affected. Some players report that the challenges and camos could not be unlocked either.

Only Zombies mode would be working properly

According to player reports, the only mode where the game would allow to unlock everything without problems would be in Zombies:

At the moment, neither Sledgehammer Games nor Activision (distributor of the game) has officially spoken on this matter. Therefore, it is not known if they are already aware of the bug.

01:52 pm (IST): While the developers are yet to acknowledge the issue publicly, you can head over here and submit the bug report with hopes that the issue gets treated on priority.

12:13 pm (IST): This issue has since been officially acknowledged by game makers, noting that it is currently under investigation.
