IVI  

IVI is a Russian online video streaming service that offers licenced video content including over 65,000 titles of movies, TV shows, cartoons and music videos. Ivi.ru offers licensed content from all major content producers, including Mosfilm, Lenfilm, Paradise, CTC Media, Gorky films Studios, Warner Brothers, and many more. IVI.ru’s streaming service is available only to users in Russia due to licensing restrictions. IVI.ru is available on a wide range of devices, including cellphones and tablets, running all of the main manufacturers.

Okko 

Okka is a Russian media services provider and production company headquartered in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, founded in 2013. The company’s primary business is its subscripted-based streaming service which offers online streaming of libraries of films and television programs, including those produced in house. The service is available worwide.

 

Megogo

Megogo is an international media service for watching videos, TV and listening to audio. The monthly audience is more than 55 million unique users. Resources catalogue- more than 90 thousand hours of content. The media service cooperates with well-known studios- FOX, BBC, Sony, Walt Pictures and others. In total MEGOGO has more than 10,000 units of free content including more than 4,500 films and 1,500 cartoons. Due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, on March 1, 2011, the service became unavailable for Russian users.

Kinopoisk

Kinopoisk is a Russian online database of information related to films, TV shows, including cast, production team, biographic, plot summaries, rating, and reviews, Since 2018 also subscriptions video-on-demand streaming service with several thousand films, TV series, cartoons, including premieres and exclusive ones, has also been available.

Amedia

Amedia is one of the largest film companies in Russia producing serials, films and TV programs. Amedia was founded in 2002 by Russian producer Alexander Akopov, Every year, the company producers about two hundred and fifty hours of content of various genres- dramas, detectives and thrillers, romantic comedies and sitcoms. Amedia has its own full-cycle studios complex in the centre of Moscow with a total area of more than 40,000 with sixteen film studios.

Start 

The start is a subscription-based international streaming service available worldwide with Russia-based production. The service is a part of STRAT digital media holding that also includes production company Start, destruction company All Media and talent agency Start Talent. START Originals includes world-renowned projects 257 Reasons to Live Beta Film, 2020 Canneseries Best Performance Award, 2020 Rose D’Or Finalist), Russian Affairs/Gold Diggers. Another START Original sci-fi hit Better than Us after its premiere on Start became the first Russian production to be dubbed into 20+ languages and secured a Netflix Original status. Some of the series are currently being sold as formats for local adaptation abroad.
