Conservative personalities have seen a significant increase in Twitter followers since Elon Musk revealed a $44 billion takeover attempt for the network on Monday, while public personalities on the left have seen a significant drop.

Since the news of Musk’s takeover surfaced earlier this week, Fox News anchor Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump Jr., and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – three of America’s most outspoken conservative mouthpieces – have gained 175,960, 301,570, and 286,559 followers, respectively.

Recently Ted Cruz tweeted that he gained several followers after Elon bought Twitter.

🚨🚨This is stunning.

⁦@Twitter⁩ accepted ⁦@elonmusk⁩ offer on 4/25.

On 4/26–THE VERY NEXT DAY—my account went from gaining 1k-2k new followers per day to 25k-70k new followers per day.

Other conservatives are seeing the same.#ObviousShadowBan pic.twitter.com/lozAIy2AE1
