This means that not only are you getting phenomenal pricing on the 4TB SSD, but you are also getting blazing-fast speeds. Regarding write speeds, Crucial states that the P3 Plus can reach 4,200MB/s, and if you have a PS5, you can also attach it to that and get higher available storage to install your games. Now keep in mind that when you install this SSD for the first time in your laptop or desktop, the increase in responsiveness in your system is not dependent on those high read and write speeds, but the IOPS counter and the P3 Plus has plenty.

According to Crucial, random read and write IOPS is 650,000 and 900,000, respectively, which should make your system more responsive than before. Also, the P3 Plus has an MTTF of 1.5 million hours, so even if you come close to wearing out the SSD, it will take years, and by that time, you will already have upgraded to a new system or new SSD. While this 4TB option is just oozing with value, we do want to point out one thing.

Before purchasing, do note that the P3 Plus has NAND flash chips on both sides of the PCB. In that case, depending on the thickness of your laptop, it might not fit. This 4TB SSD will not have any issues fitting in desktop motherboards, but laptop motherboards will be another story. To make matters easier, we recommend reading your laptop’s in-depth reviews so have a better idea if a 4TB SSD will fit in its empty M.2 slot. Other than that, this is one deal you do not want to miss out on.
