Set in the middle ages, Crusader Kings III is a strategy RPG game that was released in September 2020. The dynasty simulator is developed by Paradox Development Studio and published by Paradox Interactive.

It is the successor to the 2012 Crusader Kings II and features 3D characters as opposed to 2D portraits in the earlier versions of the game.

Both players and critics have praised the game for improving on its predecessors while retaining the core gameplay mechanics.

That said, a couple of months ago, players had complained that the Spanish text for Cultural Tradition Aesthetics and Tradition tooltips was missing.

And now, recent reports from Crusader Kings III players suggest that the game is crashing whenever they try to save their progress (1,2,3,4,5).

Many say the problem prevents them from playing the game altogether since none of their progress will be saved with some saying the crashes are completely random in nature.

Players initially thought it was an issue on their end and hence tried generic solutions such as restarting the system and reinstalling the game but nothing helped.

As it turns out, Crusader Kings III developers seem to be aware of the issue where the game is crashing when trying to save and said they are working on a fix. However, there is no ETA on when the patch will be out.

If and when they do, we will be updating this article to reflect the same so make sure you stay tuned to PiunikaWeb.
