Sony is looking to expand on its universe of Marvel characters, according to the sources Dakota Johnson is in talks to act in the studio’s Madame Web movie. S.J. Clarkson is on board to direct the movie. Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless wrote the screenplay.
In the comics, Madame Web is depicted as an elderly lady with myasthenia gravis and as a result was linked to a lifestyles support device that seemed like a spider web.
