Dark Souls 3 found vulnerabilities in Remote Code Execution (RCE) That can let hackers hack your entire system by taking control over it, as per the sources reported. The risk of hacking resides only in those PC gamers’ dead plays online. This vulnerability might have affected Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, and The upcoming Elden Ring. This exploit was actually discovered during The_Grin_Sleeper’s Twitch stream of the Dark Souls 3 game online. As it was streaming, at some point at the end around 1:20, the game crashed causing a robotic voice that belongs to Microsoft’s text to speech generator, that all of a sudden biggins criticizing the game. The Grim_Sleeper reported after this happening that Microsoft PowerShell got opened by itself, there were no efforts of him, that sign indicated, there was some hacking. Hacker used the program to run a script That triggered the Microsoft text to speech feature by taking control office the entire system. The report says that the hacker who hacked The_Grim_Sleeper’s Twitch System during the online streaming of gameplay was not a malicious one. The hacker was knowing about this vulnerability beforehand and he also try to contact the Dark Souls developer FromSoftware about it. the reason why he hacked on an online streamer was to draw attention to this exploit as he was before ignored from the side of Dark Souls. It was though a safe hacker what if a malicious hacker had discovered this exploit first, the situation could have been worst. As RCE(remote control execution) it’s considered the most dangerous exploit. It may allow hackers to access the entire functions of the victim’s machine. It may cause internal damage, stealing sensitive data, or something even worse.
