Dead By Daylight, the popular horror-themed multiplayer game, received an update recently. However, it seems that it brought bugs to certain elements of the game.

Multiple users are reporting that, since the last Dead By Daylight update, adrenaline perk is not working after being unhooked.

What you should know about Dead By Daylight

In Dead By Daylight, each game has 5 players, where 1 player will take the role of the ‘killer’ while the other 4 will be the ‘survivors’. The game is quite inspired by the slasher movies.

The main goal of the killer is to capture the survivors and hook them. Meanwhile, the survivors have the mission of repairing generators around the map to open the exit doors and be able to escape, avoiding being captured.

Players have different perks that offer them some advantage according to the situation. One of the perks is adrenaline, which offers healing and a temporary increase in the speed of survivors when the exit doors are opened.

To use the ‘adrenaline’ perk, the player in the role of survivor must have been hooked by the killer. When the other survivors activate the last generator that opens the exit doors and unhook your character, then you get ‘adrenaline’.

All the above being said, this mechanic is reportedly damaged after the most recent release of Dead By Daylight.

Adrenaline perk reportedly not working after being unhooked on Dead By Daylight

Many Dead By Daylight players are reporting that, after updating the game, the adrenaline perk does not activate even if all the conditions described above are met (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9).

Although there are many reports related to this bug (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9), there is still no official statement from the developers about it. Therefore, it is still known if they are aware of the problem.

At the moment, all players can do is wait for the reports to reach the Dead By Daylight developers, and for a fix to arrive soon. When updates arise on this matter, we will update this article, so stay tuned.
